Harmony in the unusual
Apartment design in a development project
A fairly standard apartment design in a development project with a clear task – to bring so much individuality to the interior that there can be no question of anything standard. A mix of materials and structures chosen so boldly that it cannot be used in any other apartment. The result still looks harmonious and cozy. We also found a way to turn a dull development project into something different in an unconventional design of the walls. Structural tiling behind the TV wall, enhanced by a brick and concrete step. Glass blocks that bring light to the adjacent bathroom, of course while ensuring privacy. The wallpaper behind the sofa is divided into smaller parts by subtle metal strips. Such geometry is interesting and sophisticated at the same time. A striking element is the veneer cabinet next to the “island”, which is painted in blue, turquoise and pink using the so-called watercolour painting method. This piece and the non-traditional carpet in the living room dominate the space.
