Interior design of a unit in an apartment building

A dialogue between tradition and playfulness in a historical apartment building in Letná. An apartment with respect for the character of the building, yet modern and “alive”, encouraging the creativity of its occupants. The traditional parquet floor with a French pattern is complemented by a simple kitchen design and a sophisticated industrial style (wrought iron furniture according to the author’s design). The interior is dominated by textures and patterns: Italian tiling in the kitchen and bathroom, colourful wallpaper, milled grids on the furniture. The playful interior looks informal, but the details exude a flair for elegance and harmony.
